Every page needs a descriptive title. (This is not the same thing as the name you give the file when you save it.) The title should give the name of the site and the page contents something like this: Virginia DeBolt: Ten Tips for New Web Page Designers Sydney. Every page needs headings and information at the top of the page that explain what the page is all about. Titles, headings, and top of page content are used by the search engines to index your pages. If you want to be found by someone who might search on your topic use all three. I don’t know if this approach will work if you are waiting for Prince Charming (or Princess Charming) to find you, but it works for web surfers.
